R & A Roofing & Sons LTD recently completed a targeted roof repair for a property in Maidstone, Kent, focusing on the tiled roof section above the front entrance.
The work began by stripping off the existing tiles above the front door to inspect and prepare the underlying framework. We installed new breathable felt and treated battens, followed by a brand-new 6-inch Code 4 lead flashing to guarantee a neat, durable, and watertight seal against the wall.
Any damaged or broken tiles were replaced with matching units, and the original sound tiles were carefully reinstated. To finish the project, we repointed the front verge with fresh mortar, leaving a strong, clean, and weather-resistant finish.
